Comstock, & Cline in 1872, as shipbuilders.
Other lists give Joseph and Lamer Clark.

builder who built several schooners near Babcocks Creek before the
Revolution.
Captain John Jefferies (1829-1887) was the son of John and Isabell
(Smith) Jefferies.
He marries Hannah Barrett (1838-1879).

Israel Smith (1819-1885) was the son of Elisha and Rebecca (Babcock)
Smith. He married first Sarah Gifford (1824-1847) and second Sarah
Albertson (1830-1896).
